CGBP to launch best programs in Cebu

THE Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP) will bring its best programs to Seda Ayala Center Cebu in Cebu City on June 19-21, 2019.

The CGBP granted the clamor of business owners and decision-makers based in the Visayas for more world-class trainings.

On June 19, the Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines will be discussed by a lecturer, including the changes brought by the law.

On the same day, there will be a lecture on the essential Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations issued from 2017 until the early part of 2019.

The second program on June 20 will tackle the best practices in implementing effective business controls.

Participants are expected to learn the best practices in designing and implementing controls that would help them safeguard their business assets, enhance the integrity of their financial reports and protect them from business operational risks.

The other discussions include the best practices in financial processes and controls, operational policies and good business examples.

Accountants attending the event will earn points as their presence will be credited to their continuing professional development requirement.

On June 21, a master class on writing the minutes of meetings will be held. The attendees will be informed about the legal guidelines on the meetings as mandated by the SEC.

The programs are open to the public and interested participants are encouraged by CGBP to avail of the early bird rate. Seats are limited and pre-registration is required.

CGBP is an accredited training provider of the Civil Service Commission.
