A 22-YEAR-OLD construction worker was caught at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, for allegedly raping a 15-year-old neighbor in a village in Minglanilla, Cebu.
A team from Minglanilla Women and Children's Protection Desk arrested the suspect in his workplace at Juana Osmeña St. in Cebu City.

Investigation showed the suspect raped the girl around 10 p.m. Sunday, April 8.
The girl and her mother reported the incident to the police at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Complaints for violating the Anti-Rape Law and Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act will be filed against the suspect, even though he told the police that he and the minor are into a relationship. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
