Cordova town bares traffic rerouting on August 12

THE traffic management office of Cordova town on Mactan Island announced that there will be a temporary road closure and traffic rerouting on Saturday, August 12, at 1 p.m.

All public utility vehicles, modernized public utility jeepneys, Fil-Cab must travel along the same path, except for those vehicles going to the corner of B. Nuñez/Sports Complex, which will proceed directly to M. Francisco Bantayan Road, left turn to Roro Port Centennial Avenue before turning left again onto M.L. Quezon, turn right to L. Jumao-as/Kasadya, turn right to K. Dagami Highway to get to their destination.

Private vehicles should proceed directly to K. Dagami Highway when traveling to Crossroad, Barangay Poblacion, turn right to Bangbang Road, turn left to G. Jumao-as Street, left turn to G. Jumao-as Street, Bangbang-Day-as Road, passing through the Rural Health Unit (RHU) and onto M. Francisco/San Roque Church, turn right to M. Francisco Bantayan Road, turn left to Roro Port, Centennial Avenue and onto their final destination.

Vehicles coming from Gabi and Alegria must travel directly to M.L. Quezon Street, turn right to L. Jumao-as/Kasadya Road, turn right again to Cogon Road/S. Baguio or to K. Dagami Highway to get to their destination.

To reduce traffic congestion, motorists, drivers, and other road users are urged to abide by the posted traffic laws on the affected streets. (NPG)
