MORE than P800,000 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated and seven suspected drug personalities were arrested by the authorities during separate operations in Cebu.
The Talisay Police Station caught Vanroy Abastas, 31, and Brix Racal, 21, in Purok 4, Barangay Jaclupan in Talisay City. Abastas yielded shabu worth P82,500 while Racal was caught with P5,000 worth of drugs.
Last Friday, in Sitio Camansi, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City, Christian Cubil, 28, was caught with suspected illegal drugs worth P61,823 by the Police Station 11 of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO).
In Sitio Gochan Caduloy, Barangay Tisa, the Punta Police caught Nicolas, Noel and NiƱo Fuentes with P295,000 worth of drugs.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 7 also caught Adro Dullano, 42, with 55 grams of shabu.
It has a Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P347, 000.
The arrested persons will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (JOB)
