A 15-YEAR-OLD girl who was last seen on Friday, August 24, was found dead in Sitio Anapog, Barangay Owak, Asturias, Cebu, around 2 p.m. Monday, August 27.
Police believed the victim had been raped before she was killed. She was a resident of Sitio Tabay Daan, Barangay Poblacion, Asturias.
The body was found in the state of decomposition, according to Police Officer 3 Erwin Suico.
The fatality, identified as Genebeve Entonado, was last seen in a disco around 2 a.m. Friday, August 24, in Anapog. Her parents reported her missing on the same day.
Two adult men reported to police station that they found a naked woman near a fish pond in Anapog. These two were placed under custody for investigation.
Investigators theorized the culprits drowned the victim in the pond after raping her.
An autopsy was requested to determine whether she was raped. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
