WORKS at the Cebu City Hall of Justice in Qimonda building, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City got interrupted when employees were told to go out of the building due to a bomb threat.
The Hall of Justice immediately ordered the evacuation of all people inside the building after receiving the bomb threat at past 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, as the Explosives Ordnance Disposal Unit led by Police Lieutenant Franklyn Rosario were about to inspect the area.
"Yes it is clear as far as our inspection of the building (is concerned)," Rosario later said after they cordoned the entire building for inspection.
Executive Judge Marlon Moneva of RTC Branch 74, told Sunstar Cebu that they will impose strict security measures inside and outside the building as a result of the bomb threat that turned out to be a hoax.
"We will implement stricter enforcement in entrance and exit and we will have to meet with the guards (to discuss the matter)," Moneva said.
Rosario and his men will go back today, March 10, 2022, to Qimonda to check other rooms inside the building that had already been closed during the inspection. (BBT, TPT)
