TWO persons were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Prenza, Balamban town, midwest Cebu at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023.
The suspects were identified as Combrylle Salundaguit Sanchez alias Bitoy, 22, a homosexual who was previously detained on November 2021 for an illegal drug case, and his partner Niño Parangan Gilamon, 24.
They are both from Balamban.
Lieutenant Colonel Glenn Hife told SunStar Cebu that they conducted the operation after receiving information about the illegal drug activity of the two drug personalities.
According to Hife, they made a deal with the suspects to purchase a pack of shabu from them, and when the latter handed them the illegal substances, they handcuffed them.
Bitoy and Gilamon yielded another four medium packs of alleged shabu weighing 19.47 grams and worth P132,396 during their arrest. (GPL/TPT)
