A 20-year-old Information Technology (IT) student was detained after being accused of rape.
The suspect (name withheld) was taken into custody by the tracker team of the Cordova Police Station at 10:20 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2023, by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Maria Dee Seares of Regional Trial Court branch 6 in Mandaue City.
No bail has been recommended for his temporary liberty.
The accused was sued for rape by a 16-year-old girl in February this year. (DVG, TPT)
