THE Office of the Cebu City Prosecutor has indicted a South Korean and his Filipino accomplice for their alleged illegal drug trade in Barangay Carreta, Cebu City. Prosecutor Alex Gabud found evidence to charge Seo Young Hong and Patrick Fortuna Aringue for drugs. The cases against the accused are non-bailable considering that the police seized from the suspects 50 grams of shabu during a buy-bust. Operatives from Cebu City Police Station 2 conducted the buy-bust after receiving a tip about the suspects’ illegal drug activities in Carreta. The police conducted the buy-bust in the early morning of Sept. 26. Two policemen posed as buyers of shabu and were entertained by Aringue. Upon receiving shabu worth P1,000 from Aringue, the two policemen made the arrest. (GMD)
