LEAVE Cebu as soon as possible.

This was the warning of Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) Director Senior Superintendent Royina Garma to drug personalities after the spate of drug-related killings in the city the past days

Garma said that Cebu City is not safe for those who continue to operate or protect the illegal drugs trade.

"It is not safe for them (drug personalities) but it will continue to be for people who loves peace and hate drugs," Garma said.

She said that they are looking into the alleged involvement of former Barangay Lorega-San Miguel councilor, Glenn Manal, in the narcotics trade which could be behind the killing.

Manal was killed by an unidentified gunman along Imus Road, Sitio Lomar T. Padilla while on his way home after attending a vigil at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday night.

Garma, said that Manal was in the watchlist of the Parian Police Station.

"He reportedly appeared in the Parian Police Station during the height of the Oplan Tokhang," Garma said.

The city director gave an ultimatum of 48 hours for the investigators to solve the incident.

"I was told that there was a witness who saw the gunman. The witness is still hesitant," she said.
