Lottery draws suspended November 1 and 2

THE Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) suspended lottery draws from November 1 to 2 due to Typhoon Rolly.

In an advisory posted on Facebook, the PCSO said it will not hold the lottery draws on said dates due to severe weather conditions brought by Rolly, which made its third landfall in the vicinity of San Narciso, Quezon around 12 p.m. Sunday, November 1.

The lottery draw suspension covers all games for the 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., said PCSO, adding that lottery draws will resume on Tuesday, November 3.

PCSO clarified, however, that operations of lotto outlets, such as selling of tickets and prize claims for low-tier prizes, will continue in areas not affected by the typhoon.

As of 5 p.m. Sunday, Metro Manila and other areas in Luzon have been placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Number 4 due to Typhoon Rolly. (RSR)
