A MAN was shot and killed in Sitio Sawsawan, Barangay San Roque, Talisay City past 5 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023.
The Talisay City police requested that the victim only be identified by his alias Jomar, in compliance with the Data Privacy Act.
Based on the initial investigation by the police led by Lieutenant Colonel Wayne Magbanua, the victim told his live-in partner that he would leave the house to meet a certain Jax-jax.
But moments later, gunshots erupted.
Jomar sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the body.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are still trying to find out the motive for the crime and identify the culprit. (DVG/TPT)
