A 34-YEAR-OLD man was shot dead inside a computer shop at Sitio Silangan 1, Barangay Tinago, Cebu City, on Sunday evening, Sept. 3, 2023.
Police personnel of the Cebu City Police Station 3 identified the victim as Harris Baleña Mohammad, a widower and a resident of Sitio Silangan 1 in Barangay Tinago.
Police Staff Sergeant Epifanio Comedido, Jr., investigator-on-case, in a report, said Mohammad was playing inside a computer shop when the suspect identified as Justine Arquisal, a resident of Sitio Zapanta, Barangay Tejero arrived and shot the victim in the back of his head causing his immediate death.
The police received the shooting alarm at around 9 p.m. on Sunday.
Arquisal, who fled after shooting Mohammad, is now a subject of a hot pursuit operation.
The police, however, have yet to establish a motive for the crime.
