THE local government unit (LGU) of Minglanilla is planning to implement the "right turn only" policy to reduce traffic congestion.
The said idea had already been discussed by Minglanilla Mayor Rajiv Enad, Minglanilla Traffic Command (Mitcom) head Glenn Antigua and Governor Gwendolyn Garcia.
The LGU, however, hasn't yet announced about when the policy will go into effect.
In 2021, the town approved a no-left-turn rule in busy intersections.
Earlier this year, Mayor Enad also suggested to Cebu First District Representative Rhea Gullas to build two diversion routes to lessen traffic congestion along the national highway.(ANV, TPT)
