THE former female police chief of Danao City in northern Cebu was appointed the new director of the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO).
Police Colonel Maribel Getigan took over the position from former MCPO Chief Police Colonel Jeffrey Caballes, who will be transferred to the Legislative Division of the Police Regional Office Central Visayas (PRO 7).
The turnover of command ceremony was held at the MCPO headquarters in Barangay Centro on Friday morning, August 25.
It was witnessed by PRO 7 Director Brigadier General Anthony Aberin. (HIC)
