THE Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) Regional Office VII has bolstered Cebu Technological University (CTU) with a donation of two 25-KVA generator sets and 15 gang chairs.

The equipment, intended to support the university's Power Plant Engineering subjects, was formally turned over on July 18, 2025.

The Deed of Donation was signed by PhilHealth Regional Vice President (RVP) Marjorie Cabrieto and CTU Campus Director Gregorio Pajaron Jr., DM., JD.

The donation, cleared by PRO VII's Disposal Committee, marks another collaboration between the two government institutions; in May 2024, PhilHealth also donated a 20-year-old corporate vehicle to one of CTU's campuses in southern Cebu.

During the turnover, RVP Cabrieto also encouraged CTU officials to seek accreditation for their school clinic under PhilHealth's Konsulta Program.

This initiative aims to benefit both students and university personnel by expanding access to primary healthcare services. (PR)
