A SOUND technician who allegedly sold illegal drugs as a sideline was nabbed in a buy-bust operation at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in Purok Pechay 2, Sitio Landing, Barangay Catarman, in Liloan town, northern Cebu.
Police Major Ramil Morpos, chief of Liloan Police Station, identified the suspect as Beethoven Jason Chanco Hilot, 28, single, a resident of Barangay Catarman.
Police immediately handcuffed Hilot when he was about to hand a pack of shabu to the poseur-buyer in exchange for P500.
He yielded another two small packs and a medium pack of alleged shabu and P500 cash believed to be proceeds from the illegal drug trade when police frisked him.
Morpos said the drugs weighing five grams had a total street value of P34,000. (GPL, TPT)
