A 56-YEAR-OLD trisikad driver was shot dead by still unidentified gunmen on Upper Highway, Barangay Pilipog, Cordova, Cebu Friday morning, July 12, 2019.
The Cordova Police identified the victim as a certain Romeo Calunod.
Calunod was driving his trisikad (cycle rickshaw) when he was shot dead by two unidentified men who were onboard a motorcycle.
Initial investigation revealed that the victim was allegedly one of the suspects in the killing of a certain Jerry Ligan 11 years ago.
Recovered from the crime scene were three empty shells of a caliber .45 firearm. (SunStar Cebu)
