THE Land Transportation Office (LTO) 7 has issued a public warning against unauthorized individuals fraudulently soliciting money while claiming to represent Director Glen Galario.
In a statement on Saturday, March 15, 2025, LTO 7 clarified that Galario has not authorized anyone to collect funds on his behalf or in the name of the agency.
“LTO 7 reiterates that Director Galario will never solicit funds from any individual through any platform,” reads a portion of the statement.
The agency emphasized that all legitimate transactions are conducted only at authorized LTO offices during business hours, with proper documentation and official receipts.
LTO 7 also reminded the public that it does not request monetary donations or payments through unofficial channels, including social media, text messages or unauthorized representatives.
The agency urged the public to be cautious and to immediately report any suspicious solicitations to the LTO 7 office.
It advised individuals to verify the identity of anyone claiming to be affiliated with the agency, refuse to provide money or personal information to unauthorized persons and document details of those making such solicitations when possible. / CDF
