THE Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots grabbed their first win of the conference, beating the Meralco Bolts, 112-98, in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Season 50 Governor’s Cup on Friday night, July 24, 2026, at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
The Hotshots tasted their first win after three outings in Group B, thanks to the performance of KJ Buffen and local support led by Ian Sangalang and Zavier Lucero.
