A 33-YEAR-OLD man died in a motorcycle accident in Sitio Buslot, Barangay Busay, Cebu City, around 8 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2024.
The victim was identified as Antonio Rannan Pontillas Arigo, a resident of Dr. Sue Drive, Nasipit, Barangay Talamban, Cebu City.
According to the Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) of the Cebu City Police Office, headed by Police Lieutenant Colonel Jomar Medil, the victim was descending a slope on his motorcycle.
Upon reaching a curve, he attempted to overtake a private vehicle on the right side.
However, he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a tree.
The force of the impact threw the victim off the motorcycle, causing severe injuries that led to his death. (AYB)
