A 34-YEAR-OLD man was found floating in the waters off Sitio Tagasa, Maya, Daanbantayan, Cebu. His body was recovered around 11 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025.
The victim was identified as Dary Gullem Montiadora, a resident of Sitio Tagasa.
According to Police Staff Sergeant Jorge Chavez Jr., Montiadora had been swimming with his family near Paji Island when he was believed to have been swept away by a water current during the night.
“During the activity, the victim was noticed to be missing from the area,” he said.
Family members immediately launched a search and later discovered his lifeless body.
