Veteran broadcaster Noli de Castro plans to return to television once his health allows him to do so.
Noli has reportedly not officially retired and is currently on medical leave following his surgery last year.
“‘Kabayan’ Noli de Castro remains on medical leave following his surgery last year, but he looks forward to returning once he is fully recovered,” ABS-CBN head of news Francis Toral said in a report from the capital.
De Castro celebrated his 77th birthday on July 6, with social media posts showing him looking healthy.
Karen Davila also confirmed on “TV Patrol” that Noli will still return to the program. / TRC S
