Partido Reporma’s endorsement of Vice President Leni Robredo for the presidency proves once again that she has the leadership, integrity, and vision to unite people from different political persuasions and forces behind a common democratic cause.
Even as we expect more endorsements for VP Robredo to happen soon from various other political forces and personalities, we call on the other presidential candidates, especially those who share our advocacy against the return of the Marcoses’ legacy of lies, corruption and plunder, to recognize that VP Robredo is our best chance right now to reassert human rights as a foundation of our society, and reclaim rule of law and democracy.
We encourage them to move beyond personality politics, cross party lines, and rally behind the people’s popular campaign to elect Leni Robredo as the next president of our country.
