Tell it to SunStar: What causes corruption

WHEN Jesus said, “The truth shall set you free,” he meant that the truth is the only weapon to break Satan’s spell. Because if one becomes a false preacher or prophet, one becomes a deceiver and one of Satan’s minions. It’s as simple as that.

Jesus is the truth and he sets us free from Satan’s deception.

People say, “charity begins at home.” Meaning, an adult has already learned the virtue of charity starting from childhood. But did not not all virtues begin at home, like honesty, obedience, love of God and of fellow human beings? We are taught all virtues at home, then in school, in the work places and all other habitable places.

I am passionate about making planet Earth a better place. If we are only sincere in knowing the truth and practicing it or applying it in our lives, I believe we will succeed in making the world a better place.

Why is there corruption in government, business and society? This is because organized religions are corrupt and are hypocrites. Churches are supposed to teach and inspire people, young and old, to refrain from being corrupted by the world. They cannot teach what they do not know. They cannot preach what they do not practice.

It is either you obey God or Satan. Obedience to all God’s laws and commands is better than sacrifice. And obedience also begins at home.--Chito E. Germino of Paknaan, Mandaue City
