AIMING to connect job seekers with employers both locally and abroad, over 700 individuals participated in Lapu-Lapu City's major job fair organized by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO).

Of the total participants, 389 individuals applied for local job opportunities, while 313 explored overseas employment. Francisco said that 21 attendees were retrenched workers seeking new opportunities.
A total of 93 job seekers were hired on-the-spot (HOTS).
In addition to employment opportunities, the job fair also offered access to government services. Twenty participants registered with the Social Security System (SSS), while 10 signed up with the Pag-IBIG Fund.
