The operations led to the arrest of 360 individuals involved in various crimes.

According to PRO 7 data, authorities confiscated about 2,265.93 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P5.4 million during the 185 operations, which resulted in the arrest of 215 drug personalities.

Police also conducted 33 operations against illegal gambling, arresting 38 individuals and seizing P7,905 in gambling money.

In their intensified campaign against loose firearms, they carried out 65 operations, which led to 15 arrests and the seizure of 63 firearms and 3 explosives. These efforts aim to dismantle private armed groups and prevent gun-related incidents in Central Visayas.

Meanwhile, authorities arrested 95 wanted individuals, including 14 considered most wanted.

Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan praised his team for their dedication and hard work, emphasizing their commitment to peace and public safety.

“These results reflect the steadfast commitment of our men and women in uniform to rid our communities of crime and violence. With every operation, we reaffirm our promise to protect the people and uphold the rule of law,” Maranan said.

He also said the campaign would continue as long as criminals and illegal drugs remain active in the region. (AYB)
