PROMISING up-and-comer AJ Paciones continued his hot streak in the pro ranks after a second round stoppage of veteran Thai Sanchai Yotboon in a World Boxing Organization (WBO) Oriental flyweight bout in Highland Boxing Promotions’ World Cup Boxing on May 31, 2025, at the World Siam Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 20-year-old Paciones showed his technical prowess and targeted Yotboon’s body.

Paciones sent Yotboon on one knee with a left hook to the body in the opening round. He dropped him again with another left hook to the side, and knocked him down again, for the third time, with a solid left straight to the head right before the bell.

An uppercut to the body sent Yotboon to the floor for the fourth time in the fight, before Paciones finally ended the Thai’s night with another left hook to the ribs in the 1:01 mark of the second round.

Paciones remained undefeated at 11-0 with six knockouts, while Yotboon dropped to 18-10 with 12 knockouts. / EKA
