PHILIPPINE Airlines (PAL) will increase its Manila-Seattle route to five weekly flights from the current three starting Nov. 25, 2025, as demand for travel between the Philippines and the US Pacific Northwest grows.

The service, launched in October 2024, is the only nonstop connection between the Philippines and Seattle. The expansion adds Tuesday and Thursday departures to the existing Wednesday, Friday and Sunday schedule.

PAL and Alaska Airlines maintain a frequent flyer program and codeshare arrangement, offering passengers more seamless domestic US connections via Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

The move is part of PAL’s broader strategy to strengthen US-Philippines travel and trade links. The increased frequency is also expected to raise cargo capacity on the route by up to 40 tons per week, supporting commercial activity between the two countries.

PAL will operate the flights using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft configured with 370 seats.

The airline now flies to eight destinations in the US and Canada, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, Vancouver, Toronto, Guam and Seattle. / KOC
