RACE leader Tadej Pogačar took a step closer to a fourth Tour title as Dutch rider Thymen Arensman won the 19th stage of Tour de France on Saturday, July 25, 2025 (PH time).

Arensman launched a daring solo attack on a long final climb and to win Stage 19, while Pogačar maintains lead in the general classification ranking.

Pogačar is 4 minutes, 24 seconds ahead of closest rival Jonas Vingegaard with two stages left.

With two stages left, Pogačar is looking good on his position for the fourth Tour de France crown.

Sunday’s Stage 20 features a hilly 184.2-kilometer course through eastern France finishing in Pontarlier, while the final stage 21 will have the three climbs up Montmartre hill — a short, sharp ascent which featured at the Paris Olympics last year — before a traditional finish on the Champs-Élysées. / RSC
