There are currently two all-you-can-eat promotions which help add to the local passion for abundant feasts — a tradition deeply rooted in Cebuano life.
The Great Yum Cha Feast
Every Sunday from Feb. 15 to June 30, 2025, Xin Tian Di at NUSTAR Cebu offers The Grand Yum Cha Feast. Diners can enjoy a selection of special dim sum and Cantonese dishes accompanied by free-flowing oolong tea. The promotion is available for a minimum of two guests during specified dining hours.
There is a special menu where diners can order from featuring steamed dim sum, fried and stir-fried specialties, and noodles and congee selections. Favorite picks would be the Steamed Shrimp Vegetable Dumpling for its freshness, Sichuan-style Shrimp Dumplings for its spiciness and the Steamed Shrimp Bean Curd Roll with Oyster Sauce for its plumpness. For carbs, it’s hard to beat the Dry-Fried Mushrooms Hong Kong Noodles — a noodle dish that’s been fired up at the wok station with love. The fried rice and rolls remain classics; the congee served here — unlimited or not — is a must-try.
For dessert? Have the steamed salted egg buns in the shape of cute little ducklings! “Yum cha” is a Cantonese term that literally means “drink tea,” referring to the tradition of enjoying tea alongside a variety of dim sum dishes.
Unlimited gourmet pizza
Il Primo Italian Steakhouse at NUSTAR is also inviting diners to experience two distinct promotions from March to May 2025.
The Festa Della Pizza promotion runs daily from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. between March 7 and May 31 and features an unlimited feast of freshly baked gourmet pizzas with a choice of four topping combinations: Tuna Onion, Mixed Vegetables, Salami Picante and Bacon with Bell Peppers. You can have these in either red sauce or white sauce. Either way, this pizza feast highlights the Italian way of preparing pizza: simple, making use of high-quality ingredients and practicing time-honored techniques.
In addition, Tiramisu Week — from March 17 to 23 — offers a special Tiramisu cocktail at a discounted rate, a complimentary mini-Tiramisu with select Italian cocktail purchases and a complimentary Tiramisu dessert with any steak order.
Chef Valentino Chirico explained, “We wanted to create experiences that highlight the simple pleasures of Italian cuisine. Festa Della Pizza is about enjoying good pizza with friends and family, while Tiramisu Week is a celebration of a dessert that holds a special place in Italian culinary tradition.”
