SAN Roque FC (SRFC) and LaHorse FC emerged as champions in the Men’s Open and Women’s Open divisions, respectively, of the 1st Lokality Football Cup over weekend, Aug. 10, 2025, at the Dynamic Herb-Borromeo Sports Complex in Talisay City, Cebu.
SRFC went unbeaten throughout the tournament and edged DB 18 Degrees, 3-2, in the Men’s Open finals.
The squad finished at the top of Group D with 10 points from three wins and a draw, then defeated DB Magone FC, 3-0, in the quarterfinals and Greywolf FC, 1-0, in
the semis.
Meanwhile, LaHorse FC clinched the Women’s Open title after squeaking past Urduja FC, 7-6, in a penalty shootout.
LaHorse FC led Group B with seven points from two wins and a draw and booked a finals berth with a 2-1 semifinal win over
UP Cebu.
San Roque also claimed another title after beating Abellana National School, 1-0, for the Boys 18 trophy.
LaHorse FC likewise secured a second crown in the tournament with a 2-0 victory over Bohol in the Soccer Moms division.
