A SECURITY agency surrendered its 10 firearms with expired licenses to the Inayawan Police Station at noon on Monday, December 9, 2024.

Police Major Jeciree Basitao, chief of the Inayawan Police Station, said the Stalwart Security and Utility Services headed by its owner, Ramonito Edgar Honoridez, turned over 10 Smith and Wesson revolvers for safekeeping while the renewal of their licenses is being processed.

The security agency has not been operational for several months and collected all the issued firearms from their guards.

Honoridez said the agency is consolidating more firearms with expired licenses and will turn them over to the police station in the coming days.

“The security agency is no longer operational. They are consolidating all firearms with expired licenses and turning them over to the station for safekeeping,” said Basitao. (AYB)
