Alab Pilipinas beats Wolf Warriors, 105-95

THE defending champion San Miguel Alab Pilipinas did not disappoint the Cebuano basketball fans as they made quick work of visiting Wolf Warriors, 105-95, in the Asean Basketball League (ABL) at the Hoopsdome in Lapu-Lapu City on Sunday night, January 6.

Alab Pilipinas waxed hot in the second quarter to pad their led to double digit, 59-43, at the half.

Josh Urbiztondo came off the bench to inject energy on Alab’s offense by hitting three 3-pointers including the four-point play that sent the fans to wild celebration.

Alab Pilipinas scored 37 points in the second quarter after leading only by three points, 22-19, at the end of the first quarter.

Alab Pilipinas had the same intensity in the second half to finish off the Warriors with a 10-point edge.

Renaldo Balkman and Ethan Alvano had 21 points each while Urbiztondo added 19 for Alab Pilipinas, which improved to 5-0 (win-loss) record.

It's the first time for Alab Pilipinas to play in Cebu.
