LEMUEL Aspacio proved to be the man in crunch time, as he scored several clutch three-pointers in Liquid Tile’s 77-71 overtime win over Wall Art in the Architects + Engineers Basketball Club 4th Davies Paints Cup at the Cebu Port Authority gym on Saturday, October 12, 2019.
Aspacio hit a triple from the corner to send the game to overtime, and then, in the extra session, canned two more to give Liquid Tile the rousing win. The left-handed guard finished with 29 points.
In other games, Arnel Cordero put up 18 points to lead Sun & Rain past Megacryl, 78-70. Mike Cinco also fired in 25 points in Bio-Fresh’ 65-61 victory over Aqua Gloss.
Finally, big man PJ Japon scored 21 markers to help give Powerfloor a 67-61 victory over SafeTrack. (JNP)
