Batch 1998 kept their undefeated record intact with an 89-75 bashing of 2006 in Division 2 of the University of Southern Philippines Alumni Inter-Batch Basketball Tournament at the USPF gym last Sunday, December 8, 2019.
The duo of Peter Tabasa and Keith Andaya proved too much to handle for 1998 as they each scored at least 20 points to power their squad to the victory. Tabasa flourished with 28 points, five boards, three assists and six steals while Andaya added 20 points and three rebounds.
Aria Magdales also finished with a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds along with four steals.
Over in Division 1, Batch 1991 came up with a 96-67 rout of Batch 1993. Christian Bacus led the way for the winning side with 18 points, three steals and two rebounds while Meljon Cabantan had 16 markers, four boards and four steals while John Villa chipped in 14 markers.
