BIT whips CeC by 40 points in BSAA

THE BIT International College (BIT IC) whooped the Cristal e-College by a whopping 40 points, 105-65, in the Seniors division of the Bohol Schools Athletic Association (BSAA) Season 9 basketball tournament at the University of Bohol (UB) Gymnasium in Tagbilaran City on Friday, Oct. 25, 2019.

Mark Jay Bual collected a double-double with 22 points and 10 assists to go with his two rebounds and a block, to help BIT IC get their fifth win in six games.

Kaiser Manlapat led BIT IC in scoring with 23 points while Clifford Marsamolo and Jerryco Penales added 13 markers each.

Meanwhile, in the Juniors division, UB handed the Victoriano D. Tirol (VDT) Advanced Learning Center an 82-point beatdown, 118-32, to improve to 5-2. Horrace Morata sparked UB to the overwhelming victory by tallying 19 points, six assists, two rebounds and a steal.

In the games on Thursday, Oct. 24, the Trinidad Municipal College absolutely destroyed the Tagbilaran City College, 134-67, to boost their win-loss record to 4-3.

Marlon Pernito was on fire all game long and finished with complete numbers of 36 points, four rebounds, four assists and a remarkable seven steals.

TMC asserted itself early as they established a 65-30 lead at halftime.
