Lemit leads Holy Name’s 56-point rout of CeC

THE Holy Name University (HNU) easily dismantled the Cristal e-College (CeC), 119-63, in the Seniors division of the Bohol Schools Athletic Association (BSAA) Season 9 basketball tournament at the University of Bohol gym on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019.

Lawrence Llemit had an outstanding game for HNU as he piled up 23 points, six assists and five steals to lead his school to the lopsided victory. Also helping out were John Capricho and Glenn Valero who scored 15 points each and Nikki Pagsiat who tallied 14 markers of his own.

The game’s outcome was decided as early as the first half, which saw HNU zoom off to a 63-29 lead.

HNU’s high school squad however, was not as lucky as they got beaten by the Bohol Wisdom School, 93-90. Carl Requierme filled the stat sheet up for BWS as he had 18 points, seven rebounds, five assists and a steal to help the school land the victory.

Renzel Fabiana and Vince Animas also played key roles for BWS as they each had 17 points.
