San Francisco takes Game 1

SAN Francisco fashioned out an 84-68 win over Consolacion Sarok Weavers in the Game 1 of North Division Finals of the 2018 Governor’s Cup Inter-Cities/Municipalities Basketball Tournament at the San Francisco gym in Camotes Island, Cebu on Sunday, July 8.

Sensational guard Kenny Rogers Rocacurva gave the home crowd a good show putting up 33 points, 14 rebounds, five steals, and two assists to lead San Francisco.

San Francisco pulled away early in the fourth quarter with Rocacurva drilling back-to-back triples for a 70-53 edge with about six minutes to play.

Wilson Pleños added 16 points, while Jake Laurence Gonzales chipped in 12 for San Francisco.

Game 2 of the best-of-three series will be on July 11 in Consolacion, northern Cebu. (RSC)
