A total of 12 players from the TNT Tropang Giga were named by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) to the Gilas Pilipinas men’s national basketball team that will compete in the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers on Feb. 24 to 28 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Leading the charge are several former national team members Jayson Castro, Kelly Williams, Troy Rosario, Poy Erram, Ryan Reyes, Carl Cruz and Matt Ganuelas-Rosser. Also named to the pool from TNT were Kib Montalbo, Gab Banal, J-Jay Alejandro, Glenn Khobuntin, and Cebuano guard Brian Heruela. One name noticeably absent from the list is Cebuano Roger Ray Pogoy, who was kept off the team as he continues to recover from an injured calf.

Also named to the pool is another pro player in Northport star Robert Bolick. Completing the pool are players from the previous iteration of the team, which was formed by former Gilas head coach Tab Baldwin. These are Thirdy Ravena, Dwight Ramos, William Navarro, Jaydee Tungcab, Tzaddy Rangel, Juan Gomez de Liaño, LeBron Lopez and naturalized player Ange Kouame.
