THE Warlords, Alishaalric and the Nepocenter Thurblazers came away victorious in the second week of action of the Southside Basketball League Season 5 Dirtbusters Cleaning Services Cup at the Sacred Heart Center on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020.
The Warlords trampled over the Cordials Security Agency, 81-52, thanks to the stellar showing of Benjo Hinoguin who had 27 points, two rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Then, Alishaalric nipped the Hotshots, 81-76, as Mac Ursal came up with 13 points and five rebounds.
The Nepocenter Thurblazers hacked out a 71-57 victory over the Tanduay Athletics with Yester Daculan leading the way with his 21 points.
The V-Drink Malunggay Juice also prevailed over the Hustle City, 84-60, behind Jose Pitogo’s 15 points and three rebounds while the Rasenta Builders upended the Melro Realty Brokerage, 74-70.
Jack Echavarria was Rasenta’s high-point man with 17 points and six assists. (JNP)
