THE Social Security System (SSS) in Cebu has partnered with Aboitiz InfraCapital Cebu Airport Corp. and the Mactan-Cebu International Airport
Authority to boost awareness of its MySSS Pension Booster voluntary savings program among travelers passing through Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
The tie-up enables SSS to promote the savings scheme through advertisements shown every five minutes on 54 television screens across the airport’s domestic and international terminals, reaching around 30,000 passengers daily.
The MySSS Pension Booster, launched in June 2024, offers affordable contribution rates, tax-free earnings, and higher returns compared to traditional savings options. The scheme aims to supplement the mandatory SSS pension and is open to all SSS members.
SSS has also expanded its promotional efforts by partnering with the Cebu Port Authority and Cebu South Bus Terminal, as part of the Visayas Central 1 Division’s outreach to raise awareness among
commuters and the working public.
The initiative forms part of SSS’ broader campaign to encourage long-term savings and financial security among Filipino workers. / KOC
