THE Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Central Visayas (BFAR 7) launched "Kadiwa ng Pangulo: Tabo sa BFAR" on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in celebration of its 78th founding anniversary.
BFAR 7 Regional Director Mario Ruinata said Kadiwa is part of their anniversary celebration, wherein they invited local producers for both agriculture and fisheries to sell their products at affordable prices.
“The real purpose of this is for them to display and sell affordable fish and vegetables in the area,” Ruinata said.
“We can also help them market the products. This is an avenue for them to showcase (their products) because there are some of these products that are being developed through livelihood projects,” he added.
Around 16 exhibitors from different cooperatives in the region have participated in the event. (Necolyn Claire Balansag, CNU intern)
