By Carbonhanong Alyansa alang sa Reporma ug Bahandianong Ogma sa mga Nanginabuhi
Let us be clear: there is no conflict between Mayor-elect Nestor Archival and Vice Mayor-elect Tommy Osmeña. They remain united in the fight to protect Carbon Public Market — for the people, not for profit. Both leaders continue to stand by the covenant they made with the vendors last June 12, 2025. That promise still lives, and it lives in action.
Between Archival and Osmeña, there is no rift — only the quiet strength of loyalty and the unshaken vow of a shared fight. The alliance of Archival and Osmeña under the Bando Osmeña Pundok Kauswagan banner stands stronger than ever. What binds them is not just politics — it is principle, purpose and people.
Carbonhanon stands in full support of the new administration. As we firmly declared in our May 15 statement:
“Andam ang Carbonhanon sa pagpakig-tambayayong sa bag-ong administrasyon.”
And on Thursday, June 26, Carbonhanon was present at the inauguration of Mayor-elect Archival and Vice Mayor-elect Osmeña.
The embraces shared — vendor to leader, heart to heart — captured in the photos are not mere gestures. They are living proof that the bond remains whole. That trust has not been broken. In those hugs, there was no quarrel — only warmth, only gratitude, only unity.
In any friendship — be it among partners, family, colleagues or allies — misunderstandings may come, like passing rain. But true alliances, like deep roots, do not wither from storms. Because in real solidarity, we carry only one vow: “Walang iwanan!”
