Online gambling is not just a game; it’s a growing public crisis, destroying families, putting young people at risk, and feeding a shadow economy riddled with crime.
In the 20th Congress, I filed the Online Gambling Ban Act to prohibit all forms of internet-based gambling in the Philippines.
This bill bans both domestic and offshore operators from offering gambling services to Filipinos and imposes fines, imprisonment, and permanent business bans on violators. It also requires internet service providers, app stores, and payment platforms to block gambling-related content and transactions.
Our fight against online gambling is a fight for the future of Filipino families and the well-being of our youth.
