WITH the game and possibly the season on the line, the Oklahoma City Thunder turned to their Most Valuable Player.

And Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered.

Gilgeous-Alexander erupted for 15 of his 35 points in the final 4:38, powering the Thunder to a thrilling 111-104 comeback win over the Indiana Pacers on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in Game 4 of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Finals in Indianapolis.

Thunder even the NBA Finals at 2-all as the series goes to at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City for a pivotal Game 5 on Tuesday.

“He definitely showed who he is tonight,” Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault said.

Down 10 in the second half, OKC leaned entirely on its All-NBA guard, who scored all but one of the team’s final 16 points. The Thunder closed the game on a 16-7 run, with Gilgeous-Alexander hitting clutch shot after clutch shot.

“We played with desperation to end the game,” Gilgeous-Alexander said, “and that’s why we won.”

Jalen Williams chipped in 27 points, while Alex Caruso added 20. Chet Holmgren posted a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds, helping the Thunder win despite making a season-low three 3-pointers — and getting zero assists from Gilgeous-Alexander for the first time all year.

Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 20 points. Tyrese Haliburton added 18 and Obi Toppin had 17, but Indiana couldn’t hold on late. / RSC
