The recent rise in the number of active coronavirus cases in the barangay has prompted local officials to strictly enforce quarantine protocol like the curfew and the stay-at-home order. They will also implement a “Sunday lockdown” starting on Jan. 24, 2021. Only authorized persons outside of residence and those with essential errands will be allowed outdoors. The lockdown will only be lifted when the number of cases goes down, according to Barangay Captain Michael Gacasan. (Alex Badayos)
