THE United States Tennis Association announced that the prize pool for this year’s US Open has increased by 20 percent, with the singles champion earning a record $5.5 million.
The overall prize pool rises to a record $108 million, up from $90 million last year and a whopping 44 percent jump from $75 million in 2024.
The players who will make the quarterfinals will earn $780,000 and the semifinalists will get $1.45 million, with $2.8 million going to the runners-up.
Meanwhile, every player who makes the 128-player main singles draw will earn at least $140,000, up by 27 percent from last year and the largest in tennis history.
