Vice Ganda has been absent from “It’s Showtime” since late July as the TV host is currently in Vietnam.
Vice left on the evening of July 28, 2026, with partner Ion Perez and a group of close friends.
However, Vice’s camp clarified that the Vietnam trip had been scheduled long before the issue involving the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) arose. Vice and Ion are expected to return this week.
Meanwhile, the MTRCB has given “It’s Showtime” the opportunity to ensure that the program will no longer violate the moral standards of Philippine television.
“As the matter remains under consideration, the Board shall refrain from making any further statement that may prejudge its final disposition,” the MTRCB said. / TRC
