A WOMAN was shot near a school in Sitio Saint Anthony, Barangay Kalunasan, Cebu City around 9 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025. The victim has been identified as Glaiza Malabago Cabahug, a resident of Spolarium, Duljo Fatima, Cebu City.
According to initial reports, police received a call regarding the shooting. Residents in the area reported hearing two consecutive gunshots. Upon investigation, they discovered Cabahug lying in a pool of blood.
Investigators believe the unidentified assailant used a .45 caliber firearm in the attack. Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered two empty shells from the crime scene.
Cabahug was immediately rushed to the Cebu City Medical Center. There has been no official update on her condition.
Authorities are actively investigating the incident to determine the motive behind the shooting and to identify the suspect. / JDG
